Sandwiched between arterial Lothian Road and the Festival hub of Bristo Square, the ill-defined warren of streets and offices around Main Point is on nobody's list of attractions in Edinburgh. Still, a hike down Lauriston Place will bring you to the sizeable Fringe venue Sweet ECA; while, a little further to the south, the area hosts one of the International Festival's most venerable theatres - the King's.
