Having seen him perform several times at The Stand prior to his Fringe debut last year, we were in no doubt that Kevin Bridges was destined for big things.  With a hit show in 2009 and a seemingly non-stop year afterwards, Bridges is back in Edinburgh, at Assembly, bringing his killer observations and distinctively Scottish outlook with him.

A native of Glasgow, Bridges' big break came with a critically-acclaimed appearance on the BBC's Michael MacIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, after which - according to legend - his 2009 Fringe show sold out in hours.  An Edinburgh Comedy Newcomer nominee last time round and Best Breakthrough Act winner at the 2010 Chortle Awards, expect another sell-out hit this year - and even bigger things to come.
