Get set, go! Booking opens for the Brighton Fringe |
Published on Monday, 15 March 2010 | |
As winter loosens its grip on the country, all eyes are turning to the South Coast - where the Brighton Festival Fringe is set to unveil its much-anticipated programme. The secrets will be out this Tuesday, as the local great and good converge to hear just what's scheduled this year. The world's third largest Fringe Festival, and by far the biggest in England, Brighton's running this year from 1 to 23 May. It's sure to be another bumper programme building on last year's 700 events, running in a mix of venues across Brighton and Hove. For now, booking's open only to those who've ponied up for Friends of the Fringe membership - who can now use their status to buy tickets online. On Tuesday evening, a party at the city's Thistle Hotel will kick off the whole shebang, and the website will go live at about the same time. |
