Guess Hoog's dropped their prices? |

Edinburgh's newest New Year dance, the Hoog Royale at the Queen's Hall, has quietly dropped its ticket prices... from an eye-watering £60 a head to the comparatively bargainous £45. Starting at 7:30 on Hogmanay and jigging through to 2am, the Hoog Royale is the brand new offshoot of the popular ceilidh at the Assembly Rooms, offering a handy alternative for residents on the southern side of town.
The event at the Assembly Rooms is all but sold out, but there's still a healthy supply of now-dicounted passes for its smaller brother at the Queen's Hall. It doesn't take a genius to realise that the price-drop indicates an issue shifting the tickets - but it still sounds like a good event, featuring local ceilidh outflit Blaze in the Bothy and a jazzy interlude from the Lairds of Dixieland. Pre-booking is still essential. You can read more about the Hoog Royale here on FringeGuru, then book tickets through the usual Hogmanay outlets. |
