| Buxton Fringe 2011: Reviews Archive |
|
Just before the world's performing artists descend en masse on Edinburgh, one of the UK's friendliest Fringes takes place in beautiful Derbyshire. For the first time in 2011, we had a full team of reviewers at work in the Peak District. This is a Festival that's going from strength to strength; we'll see you again in 2012! The directors of Fringe Guru Ltd would like to thank our reviewers and editors Alice de Cent, Ian Hamilton, and Jennifer Mills; our colleagues at FringeReview; Tom Crawshaw and the operators of all Fringe venues; Stephanie Billen and the staff of the Buxton Festival Fringe; and last but not least the staff of the Old Hall Hotel, for their invaluable support and assistance during 2011's Festival. |
FROM OUR ARCHIVES
These are archived reviews of shows from Buxton 2011. We keep our archives online as a courtesy to performers, and for readers who'd like to research previous years' reviews.
The Buxton Fringe 2011 runs until 24 July in the town of Buxton, Derbyshire.
It's easy to find your way around this friendly Festival, with most venues within a stone's throw of the town centre. Many shows can be booked online; we include box office links when we have them.
